A blocked drain in Inner West

Sally lived in terrace house in the Inner West. The house was rather old and her plumbing was creaky at times and she tended to have a lot of problems with the drains due to the age of the old earthenware pipes.

Then, one Wednesday evening, Sally ran the washing machine, which was connected to the drain in one of the bathrooms. As soon as the water started draining from the machine, both the bathroom drains began to gurgle and the water level was rising. Horrified, she rushed to turn off the washing machine.

“Gosh, what a mess”, her son said as he came in from soccer practice.

The plumber also quoted Sally on replacing those old earthenware pipes with new PVC pipes to prevent further blockages. Sally had bee quoted previously but the price she had been quoted was rediculous so it was a pleasant suprise to find out that the Inner West Plumber was very compeditive.

She went ahead with the replacement of the old earthenware pipes and hasn’t had a drain blockage since.
